I've tried, tried, tried, tried to like Space Shanty. It just doesn't strike me like the other Canterbury albums. OTOH, Tago Mago one of the greatest albums ever made in the history of rock music. Not even close
There is no dark side in the moon, really... Matter of fact, it's all dark...

Pretty much same here.
Space Shanty is one album I just don't get its massive praise.

Space Shanty for me. I'm afraid Can is not my cup of tea. I don't know what's so great about these lengthy sequences of monotonous rhythms and random noises.

I didn't like very much that Can, but it was before I buy the Lp. Listening to the each side separately and taking your time to do it is a real pleasure. A few months ago, I came back to vinyl. What to say ? Today I can spend a whole week listening to only one album. I'm sixteen again.
