I have heard this cd from 70's N.Y. Cathedral. I'm not sure what I expected, as they have only put out one album but I found that this one after several listens was very interesting. It is a direction in prog that I don't hear much,
symphonic but not in the same way as the old record.

I agree, this new CD is interesting in many ways.  The songs are "progressive" but don't really sound like any of the groups that defined that genera.  The songs are interesting in that the lyrics actually have meaning and the music has melodic interest.  If you are prog. music fan, check out this group!  You won't be disappointed!
