Geddy Lee is a good singer for the last time.  Accept that it's different and move on. Angry

Wow.  I got BEGINNINGS (Steve Howe) from the Library...and I'm glad I didn't have to pay for it for that very reason.

Yuck.

Gordon Haskell from KC's LIZARD album comes in second.  (He wasn't a very good Bass Player either)

Oh yeah?!? Uh, uh, well John Anderson smells funny!

Say! Now there's a poll! "Which progger do you assume smells funniest?"

Btw, Howe sucks as a singer.

I agree. He isn't much of a lead singer, but he's great at doing backing vocals.

You've just had a heavy session of electroshock therapy, and you're more relaxed than you've been in weeks.

Fish has completely turned me off Marillion. He sounds too much like a wannabe Gabriel, Marillion isn't fun to listen to for me because of that. I haven't heard any Hogarth-era Marillion though. I voted "other" though, because I really have a problem with James LaBrie when he sings high notes, because when he does that, his otherwise good singing turns into an irritating wail, and I can't hear the words. I can put up with this though, and I enjoy some Dream Theater every now and then. I just wish he could sing as nice on Dream Theater albums as he does on Ayreon's The Human Equation.

I can't believe Geddy Lee's winning.  Blasphemy...

For once, I'll agree 100% with you!Clap Geddy is a great singer, especially now that he sings in a lower register.

Geddy can get screechy and annoying at times, but his voice is so incredibly important to Rush's sound. The fact that so many people think he's the worst voice in all of prog is disappointing. I mean, what is Rush without Geddy Lee's "othergenderly" vocals?
