Easy enough for me, Genesis- "Calling all Stations" But NOT because of Ray Wilson. I had high hopes for this one, but it just seemed to meander from song to song with every track sounding the same. I couldn't tell where one song ended and the next one began, with the only exception being "Congo". I really wanted to like this album, but IMHO, it just fell flat.

My first Tangerine Dream album I bought was Atem, OH BOY was that a huge mistake, I pawned it the day after. Back then I was just introduced to progressive music so I didn't know what to expect from most of it. Now that I'm more open-minded and accepting to new things Tangerine Dream is one of my favorite bands and I bought back Atem Embarrassed.

Falling into Infinity by Dream Theater. I love Derek Sheranian in Planet X and on A Change of Seasons, but this album is DT's weakest to date. Saying that Im not a huge fan of Octavarium, although at least this has 3 good tracks on it.

   Yes - Open Your Eyes
ELP - In the Hot Seat.  i can't say they disappointed me heavily but these two albums at least are not that bad but they're the least inspired albums of these two bands; that's where my disappointment is coming from.

Two albums come immediately to mind:  'Point of Know Return' by Kansas (1977); and, first, self-titled album by 'Asia' (1982).

Well... I'm very happy with it, though

I know this has been said ad nauseum by many of you but...

10,000 Days was one hell of a let down for me ( I need to get this out in the open as it's only my second post).

I realise that ti is not always possible to continue to improve but after the masterpiece that Lateralus is, 10KD was a significant drop in standard.

When I heard Vicarious I was a little dubious as it sounded like a Lateralus b-side. You can imagine my disappointment in realising that it is the best song on the album.

The only thing original on the whole album is the Wings epic which I do appreciate quite considerably. The rest is give or take.

I haven't listened to the album in months and given that it only came out in May, I guess it says something when compared to Lateralus, to which I listened to continually for some three years.

It left such a bad impression on me that I didn't bother to see them when they toured, which I heard was a phenomenal show.

Youdon't like "paper Blood" at all ??? It's a killer-track... well, but not really "prog"...

Black Moon, Paper Blood, Farewell To Arms, Close To Home are very good tracks imo. The album is not on the same level as most of their 70's output but it's not that bad(the only awfull thing on the album is the triggered snare-drum sound).

Ever want a really bad impression: In The Hot Seat, well that's the most awfull album'I've heard in my life....

The only reason for ELP to reunite is to record somethin' better than In The Hot Seat(because otherwise it'd be their last studio-album......cant't be).

I tend to agree with you about the first but "Hand of Truth" is okay as is "Daddy", I've heard worse albums than "Hot seat" !

I was disapointed by rush's 2112. Somehow I expected more from lee, lifeson, and purt! The title track is weak and rather choppy. the rest is ok at best. The album is also too short! I should have bought hemispheres! Damn!

i like so much the trilogy ever-subterranea-7th house, that dark matter globally leaves me pretty unsatisfied. thus, tetralogy does not apply here.

The only way this album disappoints me is that it has to end!
