So far I only have "Octopus", "Free hand" and "Interview". I've heard some of "The power and the glory" and I'm thinking about buying "In a glass house".

Anyway, here are my favourites from what I have heard (approximate order):
1. Just the same
2. The advent of Panurge
3. Interview
4. Knots
5. Free hand
6. Proclamation
7. The boys in the band
8. On reflection
9. Raconteur, troubadour
10. A cry for everyone

1 - Playing the Game
2 - I Lost My Head
3 - His Last Voyage
4 - Alucard
5 - Cogs in Cogs
6 - Black Cat
7 - No God's A Man
8 - School Days
9 - Think of Me With Kindness
10 - Experience
11 - Aspirations
12 - Empty City
13 - Pantgruel's Nativity
14 - Raconteur Troubadour
15 - An Inmate's Lullabye

so many more great songs to choose from... my favorites tend to be the more quiet atmospheric songs though. Brilliant brilliant band!
Thumbs Up

yep...  the first four are true gold... but the 'soul' of the group sort of falls through on latter albums for me.

personally for me their first 4 are hit and miss and Octopus never struck a chord with me (expectations too high, maybe?). but for some reason the removal of one brother made the band a lot better for me. Well, up to Free Hand, anyways...

1. The Moon is Down
2. Pantagruel's Nativity
3. Way of Life
4. Advent of Panurge
5. The House, The Street, The Room
6. Why not?
7. Three Friends
8. His Last Voyage
9. The Face
10. I Lost My Head

I could change around the order and substitute other tracks.  Lots of excellent material on the first eight albums.

"Questions are a burden to others; answers a prison for oneself" (The Prisoner, 1967).

I don't have really much of anything from albums 5-10, though I've sample some of the big songs. I may have to make another list later.

You are quite a fine person, and I am very fond of you. But you are only quite a little fellow, in a wide world, after all.

wow... don't listen to them as I once did... but still.... putting on School Days is one of the tracks... and rare indeed in prog... that can simply bring tears to your eyes. Man I love that song.. .in fact... putting Three Friends on now.  Been awhile since I've listened to it.   Don't do the 'english' thing much these days.
