King Crimson:
In the Court of the Crimson King
Discipline
Red
The Power To Believe
Lark's Tongues In Aspic

Yes:
Close to the Edge (arguably the best album of all time)
Fragile
The Yes Album
Going For The One
Relayer

Gentle Giant:
Octopus
Three Friends
In a Glass House

Pink Floyd:
Dark Side of the Moon
Meddle (Echoes is awesome)
The Wall

Genesis(I can't name just 3 Genesis albums, so I'll put down five):
Selling England By The Pound
Nursery Cryme
Foxtrot
The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway
Duke

Actually, If Genesis's self-titled album replaced Illegal Alien with something (anything!) else, then maybe I would put that down in the Genesis top five. No, maybe if they just got the masters of Illegal Alien and launched them into outer space so they couldn't put it on the album I would put it in the top five. Man, that would make my day...

*edit

Oh yeah, I forgot Supertramp. I have only listened to three of their albums, but all of them were awesome.

Supertramp:
Crime of the Century
Breakfast In America
Even in the Quietest Moments

King Crimson -
ITCOTCK - Do I really need to explain why?
Red - The perfect album, Fallen Angel and Starless are amongst the greatest songs ever
LTIA - The Talking Drum and Easy Money are superb. This is probably their strongest, however least melodic.
Power To Believe - If it weren't for the title tracks, this would be my favourite Crim album
In The Wake Of Poseidon - Despite being a carbon copy of ITC, it is still very likeable. I personally love it.

Gentle Giant -
Free Hand - GG at their best, I really love the celtic feel. It also doesn't lose itself in complexity.
Octopus - It is impossible for me not to like this one, their prime work to most people.
Power and the Glory - GG at their most complicated, and I love it for that reason. I never get bored of this one.

Yes -
The Yes Album, Close To The Edge, Fragile, Going For The One, Yes

Floyd -
Meddle, DSOTM, Animals

Genesis -
Lamb Lies Down - Great surreal story, divinely melodic and Pete's theatrics make this album.
Foxtrot - Master works once again, however Get Em Out By Friday drags it down.
Trespass - A perfect album, this should have been Genesis's signature sound, I love the heavier feel to this one.

KC:1- ITCOTCK (why is that not a surprise?)
2- Larks Tongues(remember the day I bought it as if yesterday....time flies when your in a bad marriage!)
3- Starless & Bible -Great stuff Mark II, a Wetton/Bruford sensation
4- Islands -because of Sailor's Tale , a mental instrumental
5- Red - The heaviest album and a treat for Metallica fans, ask me about this one!

GG
1- Octopus -saw them live too what a treat!
2- Three Friends
3- Acquiring the Taste

YES
1- CTTE- As Bill said, still evocative 36 years later, ridiculously good
2- Relayer- the perfect Yes album with the dice rolling
3- Yes Album - the nucleus before the fission !
4- Tales - A symphonic masterpiece, flaws and all
5- Fragile - contrary to the title , a strong Squire/Bruford event

Supertramp
1- Crime of the Century - yes a great concert live , such vivid playing
2- Even in The Quietest Moments- Fool's Overture is a precious jewel
3- nothing reaaly after that , for me Breakfast : I don't even like eating it, let alone listening to it

Pink Floyd
1- Dark Side (remember the day it came out perfectly, warm summer day, it was
2- Wish You were Here - welcome to the machine indeed
3- Meddle - On echoes, I lost my virginity , and took its sweet time doing it tooo!
4- Lavallee - surprised?
5- The Wall -more the movie than the music really , for personal reasons

Genesis
1- SEBTP- " Can you tell me where my country lies" a masterstroke of prog
2- Wind & Wuthering- Love this record more than the obvious ones
3- Trespass- mainly because its raw, delicate and "The Knife" is a classic.
4- Nursery Cryme- The Musical Box - seeing it happen 6 feet away, what d'ya think?
5- Foxtrot- Supper from 6 feet away? a Flower? ask me about that!

All these records are pretty much doric columns of Prog, timeless stuff .
And "Epitath" sums it up perfectly. Hug

Pink Floyd: Animals, Meddle and OBC

KC: ITCOTKC, Islands and Starless and Bible Black.

For those who haven't got into Supertramp, I really recomend you to check them out, being easy listen and fun, if someone takes my advise (don't believe anyone will lol), I recomend you Crime of the Century, Even In the Quitest Moments. After that and you liked them, you should seek Crisis What Crisis, their debut and their hidden Brother Where You Bound.

GG: "Octopus", Acquiring the Taste" and the first self-titled one.
Yes: "Relayer", "Close to the Edge", "Tales from Topographic Oceans", "Fragile", "Drama".
Pink Floyd: "Ummagumma", "Meddle", "Wish You Were Here".
Supertramp:  "Crime of the Century" (sorry, can only name one here; don't like the rest at all).
KC: "Lizard", "Red", "Larks' Tongues in Aspic", "Starless and Bible Black", "Thrak".
Genesis: "The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway", "Nursery Cryme", "Foxtrot".

As an added extra I will give you 5 of VdGG, 5 of Hawkwind and 3 of Amon Düül 2.

VdGG: "Pawn  Hearts", "H to He...", "Godbluff", "World Record", "Present".
Hawkwind: "Warrior on the Edge of Time", "Astounding Sounds, Amazing Music", "Quark, Strangeness and Charm", "Sonic Attack", "Electric Teepee".
Amon Düül 2: "Tanz der Lemminge", "Phallus Dei", "Wolf City".
