I said "This is a good album but not certainly not my favorite". I don't really have a favorite album. It just depends on what I feel like listening to. So, I guess the last thing I listened to was my favorite album.

Favorite albums always change when you're a prog lover. If you are a normal music fan, you might be able to just sit back and say something like "Yeah, Led Zeppelin II is my favorite album." But for us proggers, favorite albums always change. So, it's pretty much an impossible question.

That being said, sure, you can have an overall favorite album, even if you don't listen to it much at the time. It could rise to the top of your listening list again sometime in the future, but it might be in the background now. Always possible.

My Favorite Album.......gotta be Thick as a Brick by Jethro Tull followed closely by Close to the Edge (Yes) and Foxtrot (Genesis) and Brain Salad Surgery (ELP), throw Animals (PF) in too.

My favorite CD is every Dream Theater CD.  They are all so good and perfect that it is not possible to pick one.  It is unfair that this site only has 5 stars when these all deserve at least 6.  My favorite song is every Dream Theater song.  My favorite band is Dream Theater.  I have 10 CDs and all of them are Dream Theater. There is no reason to listen to anything else because this is the best.

Saying Close to the Edge sucks is being a non-Prog 'tard, period.

Doesn't matter how good an album is, after enough spins, you will become tired of it at some point. Same as with your favourite meal. That said, I would consider Buckethead - Population Override as a contender for the bringing-with-me-to-to-a-deserted-island picks.

I don't want people to talk about my life. So, please, keep on the music area.

And, yes, Close To The Edge sucks really hard, with the exception of the intro of the title track.

Clearly a Dream Theater, Mars Volta fan.  Maybe he will get into prog music some day.

Tell me... Do you know Doctor Nerve, Herbe Rouge, Jean Derome, Motor Totemist Guild or René Lussier? If you don't, please, keep your mouth shut.

You're clearly a Yes, Genesis fan. Maybe you will get into good music some day.

For those who think I'm a DT or Mars Volta fan (I like both, anyway), I would recommend to take a look on my past messages.

The same thing that you have against Mars Volta and At The Drive-In.

Actually a early Yes , early Genesis fan.  And I didn't open my mouth.  I typed into this little window on my screen.  I'm not sure why you are so defensive and why you keep telling everyone to shut up.  What a joke.  I'll type my opinions here all day.  If you don't like it, skip over my posts.
