i cant get why everybody is so unhappy with octavarium

because DT is trying too much to sound like other bands, they sound like a copy of U2 on song no.4 and 2, Muse on no. 6, Pink floyd & Genesis on no. 8, Metallica on no. 1

DT forgot their own uniqueness and they are trying too hard to imitate their idols.

also, they want to sound "metal" (with no success) and for that reason their last albums are lousy and boring

guess im the only one that is a fan of their new stuff

You're not. I love their new stuff as well. Six degrees is amazing. Tot is a metal album, but it's the best metal album I've heard and Octavarium is one of my favorite DT albums with sfam, iaw and awake.

Images and Words - Learning to Live
Awake - Space Dye Vest
Falling Into Infinity - Lines in the Sand
Metropolis Part II - The first half of Fatal Tragedy
Live Scenes From New York - The Spirit Carries On (brilliant!)
Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence - Disappear, closely followed by Misunderstood.

The rest I don't own.

^^^ True for the most part, but does not mean you can't have a favorite song, because they have a good song or two on most of their albums

No, you aren't...I myself don't like very much the second disc of SDOIT.
As I stated elsewhere it sounds too "plastic" to me...melodies aren't bad, however...in particular War inside my head
A flower?
