I hesitated for 2 seconds between 1 & 5 . Voted for option 5 !
The problem in option 1 is not only the lack of ELP but I realy feel Lake's leave lead KC to grow up, abandon pomposiness (sure misspeled her but you know what I mean) and helped them (him) to become a mudh better and more mature musician(s).
So option 5 where Genesis allready created most of their better albums sounds O.K. to me. The only question I have is does it means that 80's and 90's KC will never exist ? If so I choose wrong and I'm in hell.

When I found out about Peter Banks, and the fact that he left Yes, I almost cried, so guess what. Yep, I'm taking 5. Haha! Joking, it's 2 for me.

That was a no brainer for me. ELP never forming would have been a sad thing, though I'd have been interested to hear more Crimson with Greg Lake. Couldn't really care less about two and three and Genesis worked out just fine the way that it was. I think a more compelling option five would have been 'What if Steve Hackett remained in Genesis'.
With that being said, I easily chose option 4 within the allotted five seconds. While I like some of their later albums, I think Kevin Moore was the perfect balance to Portnoy and Petrucci. His lush melodies and chords really complimented the shredding the other two. I'd have enjoyed seeing more with that line up.

Although DT would be better with Moore, it would only be a matter of keyboards, the compositions wouldn't have evolved very differently if Kevin Moore had stayed in my opinion, Portnoy and Petrucci playing the frontman role quite well.
So I went with the dreamy 5th universe. Never wanted Ian Anderson to quit Jethro Tull, don't need Greg Lake when you got Fripp... (exagerated but true).

Option #4 seems the least disastrous to me.

Option three: Ian Anderson quits Jethro Tull after the first album and joins up with a plucky Jon Anderson and stone-faced Chris Squire.

Number 3
Thick As An Edge / Close To The Brick sounds pretty good to me
Runner-up would be KM not leaving DT, easily their best keyboardist

In bizarro territory, what if Frank Zappa hadn't died and joined Transatlantic?

Watching while most appreciating a sunset in the moment need not diminish all the glorious sunsets I have observed before. It can be much like that with music for me.

Five would yield the widest variety of possibilities, and that got my almost immediate vote (4 seconds). ELP needed to happen. Banks needed to be out of Yes so Howe could join in. On the other hand, having the Anderson twins with Squire would yield some interesting possibilities, but then when I think about it, maybe Banks should have rema ---- BANG

1 is half good -- the good part being ELP never happening, but having Lake stay with KC makes it too undesirable.
2: ambivalent.
3. Though I would see this as improving Yes, it's undesirable. Ian Anderson had at least a couple of really good albums with Jethro Tull left in him: Stand Up and Benefit (actually I like a fair amount of the later music too, and prefer JT to yes overall, so this one would be bad).
4. Ambivalent.
5. This would be an improvement on Genesis, but I wouldn't want to risk being deprived of Adrian Belew's solo work had the Genesis project continued. To a lesser extent, I would want to risk being deprived of Gabriel solo as I think he made most of his best music outside of Genesis. Leaving Genesis was a good move for Gabriel artistically, I feel. So, even though not something I care that much about, I would see it as being negative. There was a time when Lone Rhino was a very important album to me.
So neither two nor four bother me. Since I don't care about DT, it'll get my vote for being the least harmless/ important change. Being the one of least consequence, it is the least negative.

I'm not a huge fan of DT, but the thought of Moore producing moore (bad pun, sorry) albums with the band has me moore (ah... yes, sorry about that one as well) interested than the other options.
