Exit Stage Left would be my choice overall, but as a studio album it simply has to be Moving Pictures.

Where's the love for 2112? I'm suprised by the fact that it only has 7 votes. My top 5:
1. 2112 2. Permanent waves 3. Power windows 4. A Farewell to kings 5. Hemispheres

AFTK is perfect in my opinion, so I guess my vote goes to that.

Well My favorite Album from my favorite band is: Hemispheres, followed closely by Permanent Waves.
But I have to admit that its (Rush is a living creature) definitive masterpiece is Moving Pictures

Hemispheres will always be my favorite...however, Grace Under Pressure is often overlooked....that is a phenomenal album.

Caress Of Steel. The Necromancer is the song that got me into Progressive music and I've had a love for all the songs on the album since then.

I see you let live albums in. Permanent Waves is usually my knee jerk response, but it's hard to ignore Different Stages.

great to see Hem getting so much love and beating the usual victors.. I shall therefore swing my vote to Signals, a beautifully clean and economic album but still with their high prog standards

My number 1 is a tie of five prestigious alba: 2112, A Farewell to Kings, Hemispheres, Permanent Waves, Grace Under Pressure....I don't know what all the fuzz around Moving Pictures is about: it's a decent album, but that's it.
I'm voting: Hemispheres - just to create a distance between that one and Moving Pictures, seeying that I can't choose one of the five mentioned above.

This is hard, but I went with Signals. It was tough choice from Signals, Power Windows, and Permanent Waves.
