So many great ones, but, I had to go with Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Parts VI-IX). Brain Damage/Eclipse is a close second. It just doesn't get any better than those two as closers for me . The perfect endings to two perfect musical journeys.

Echoes obviously, but Jugband Blues is very cool, and it has few votes, so...

Shine On Part IX is the most glorious way anyone could close an album. Especially following the previous parts. Eclipse and High Hopes are just amazing too.
I would consider Echoes more of an independent track, not as cohesive with the rest of the album as the previous two, although its last minutes are one of the best ways to end a masterpiece too.

I've got to go with the majority and say Echoes - it's one of my favourite tracks of all time.  Other contenders are High Hopes and also Sorrow from the surprisingly unpopular and, I think, very underrated A Momentary Lapse of Reason.

They are better at opening albums (or bookending albums in some cases).

Jugband Blues is really fitting, whereas Echoes is a whole side so it wouldn't really matter where it was on the album.

I'm surprised High Hopes has as many votes as it does... I never really like Division Bell too much.

Echoes could be an album by itself, i really like it. my vote goes for it.

also, i think Dogs would have made a hell of a closer ("who was dragged down by the stone.....")
and regarding the wall, i feel The Trial is more of a closer than Outside the Wall.

ps: we should start similar polls, best rush closer, best dream theater closer, best x closer, and so on. i like this

I wouldn't call Echoes a closer, it's the whole point of the album. Jugband blues for me.
