Ops! Fixed. I lost the first poll I made (it timed out because I spent too much time, or something), so remaking it went a lttle fast. Its their follow up I found crappy. And the only highlight is pretty much a copy of Bulerias, but an awesome one. |
Ahh snap!
Love both of those, and I actually see them as a double album sadly separated at birth. Feels very much like brothers to these ears. One of those rare cases, where I'd give each of them 4 stars but together as a whole 5.

Grateful Dead - Terrapin Station.
I find this to be the most "progressive" song from the Dead (as defined by traditional standards).

I'm tempted to say The Musical Box, but I also love Hogweed.

Interesting. Maybe my 3.5 & 2.5 star will end up as a 5 if I think of them as a double.

IMHO Dancing on a Cold Wind, the follow up album to Fandangos In Space, is a far superior offering than its predecessor.
It gives me goose bumps.
Everyone please acquire the 3 Carmen albums. They are All fantastic.

I'd say The Lake by Mike Oldfield, a very nice often forgotten track. The rest of the album is hardly worth listening, if you're not a huge fan of 80s pop.

^But you found nothing to vote for in the poll?
I'm a huge fan of 80's pop, btw. But only the good stuff.

I went with Terrapin although I don't think it was a total crap album. Dancing In The Streets was very cringe worthy.

Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

^Yep. I do remember a half nice song on the A-side too but I can't remember which one.
