Radio Gnome sets for the stars !
I never post anything anywhere without doing more than basic research, often in depth.

An eternal genius, even in his departure from the physical world he manages to keep his grace and uniqueness. When he came to Tel Aviv a few years ago I was only 15 or 16 and seeing a 70 something year old jumping and running around even more than I was made me feel like he was going to keep at it forever. Sadly he too is apparently human. Much love to you Daevid.

As much as I adore his work with Gong, this album (which the following track is from) is one of the most precious CD's in my collection:

An essential ambient/electronic release, snap up the CD if you can still find a copy.

Let us hold Daevid in our hearts and thoughts, he is traveling down a path that we shall all visit someday....my wish is that he has a peaceful passing when the time comes.  I don't blame him for wanting to turn off the machines and surgeons.

Thank you, Master Builder!  Clap

Let us not lose perspective of the guidance that the man himself is giving us.-
"So Thank you SO much for being there with me, for the Ocean of Love and Now, importantly, Thank you for starting the process of letting go of me, of mourning then transforming and celebrating this death coming up - this is how you can contribute, this would be a great gift from those emotionally and spiritually involved with me."

Very sad news - I've found his recent career truly inspiring, and I hope I'm as energetic and creative in my 70s and able to face the final curtain with as much grace, serenity and dignity.
'Like so many of you
I've got my doubts about how much to contribute
to the already rich among us...'

Such sad news, though I am deeply moved by Daevid's acceptance and serenity. When Micky and I saw the rough screening of the forthcoming Romantic Warriors: Canterbury Tales documentaries, I was impressed by his youthfulness and gentle sense of humour. Very likely Daevid will have already left us when the film is finally released - which will make things even more poignant, seen as we have already lost so many of the original Canterbury artists.

I was messed up in my own troubles, so only saw this just now. Sad... best I could do was honour the man with a Track of the Day on my blog.

Daevid, you are a visionary, a pioneer, a master of Time and Space. I wish you nothing but the best - you've made many folks smile.
Terribly sad state of affairs............

Oh, no Cry

I'm in shock.

So much more to give as a physical being yet so little time; musically, the #1 prog album of 2014 cf. my submission to PA's top album survey.

He'll play a prominent role in my meditation tonight. His energy will continue to have an impact on me and everyone else who is open to it Smile
