no, the poster specifically mentioned it was not Intergalactic Touring Band, which was certainly the most logical choice, since there was one big corporation in that story, called Vibracon I believe

I think I know what album you are thinking of but I don't have it and have forgotten it's name. intergalactic Touring Band
Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

Wasn't there an R Godfrey from the group "The Enid".  He was the guy who arranged the orchestra on the early BJH albums, and sued the band for compensation when they finally achieved commercial success without the orchestra.  He lost.
