^ Unfortunately I can't confirm Tchort playing guitar during the recording of the album. Yes, he is still listed in the current band line-up, but he only returned to his guitar duties with Green Carnation in mid-May this year after a four-year absence due to a busy personal schedule - and according to Blabbermouth.net, Bandcamp and Metal Archives he wasn't part of the recording line-up for this album. I'd be tempted to leave things as they are until the album is released and we know for sure whether he featured on any part of it or not.

Here's the Facebook post announcing the return of Tchort to the band on May 16th this year after his four-year absence.

^^ Let's leave it to September, when the album sees the light of day.

Thanks, David, but I'm sure that all suggested manipulations with cookies come from bad web-programming. If other people see new image, that's fine. I can live with the old one.

Why did you change the date on the release which is August 1st for Vinyl & CD when I told you that George himself gave me the info with an email and message on FB messenger to me? check out his post from today on FB https://www.facebook.com/finallygeorgemusic

^ At the time the page was updated, Just For Kicks Music were showing a release date of July 31st for the CD version, and August 28th for the vinyl LP, rather than a blanket release date of August 1st for both, so I included that info in my last reply to help the E&O Team decide how to proceed with this.

Just For Kicks are indeed now showing 1st August as the release date for the CD version, but they still have the LP release date shown as 28th August:

https://www.justforkicks.de/shop/progressive/painter-cd.
https://www.justforkicks.de/shop/progressive/painter-lp.

This is the problem with adding albums to PA well in advance of the release date - things can change in the meantime, and often do - so who do we believe, Finally George in a Facebook post, or the label that is actually handling the release of the album?

For the benefit of Eugene, who can't access Facebook in his country, this is what Finally George posted a couple of hours ago:

"My new album "Painter" will be released on CD and vinyl on Friday. Available at BANDCAMP & Just for Kicks".

Again, I'll let the E&O Team decide what to do next, but I'd be tempted to change the CD release date back to 1st August as George has said tonight, and is also being confirmed by Just For Kicks Music, but leave the LP release date as it is until we know for sure that orders for the vinyl version are actually being shipped on Friday.

^ Thanks Mayer, just the addition of Claudio Nardini to the existing line-up as an additional drummer, so done.

^ Thanks, Mayer, done. I'll tweak the biography slightly in a short while to include the change of name, plus a couple of recent line-up changes. I might add an updated photo below the existing old one too.

We have a duplicate album in the Conrad Schnitzler section that needs deleting. I'd reappropriate it for another entry but it's already been rated (but both versions were rated by the same user, so I feel more comfortable calling for its removal):

^ The other entry needs some editing too, since the current total time doesn't equal the sum of the individual track times, and track 1 'Firecrackers In Slow Motion' should be 5:03 duration according to the Discogs pages for the reissues, not 4:03 as we currently have it (our timings seem to have been taken from RYM's page for the 1995 released 'Convex (The Cassette Concert Series N°5)' album, which they include as a compilation, since only tracks 1-8 were part of the original 1982 album, the rest being the tracks released in 1982 as 'T7', which was side A of cassette #4 of the 'Container' 6 x C90 cassette collection (private release, 1982, re-issued by Transmitter Cassetten in 1983).

See: https://www.discogs.com/release/331555-Conrad-Schnitzler-Convex and https://www.discogs.com/release/1408291-Conrad-Schnitzler-Convex, looking at the images showing the track listings.

I think the timings therefore should be thus:

Original 1982 'Convex' vinyl album (39:25)
1. Firecrackers In Slow Motion (5:03)
2. Processed Melting Jew's Harp (5:23)
3. Dripping Globules With Echoing Greasy Things (4:59)
4. Spring-Loaded Popping Steel Drops (5:02)
5. Random Ascending Crackles (3:12)
6. Circular Toy Music Box (4:30)
7. Weightless Mercury-Bubble Shots (3:52)
8. The Ghost And The Space Dancer (7:24)

Bonus tracks consisting of 'T7' from side A of cassette #4 of the 1982 'Container' 6 x C90 cassette box set (28:19)
9. The Cuckoo Clock (3:14)
10. Released Racing Mechanisms (2:36)
11. Suction Pump (3:45)
12. Ant Blood (4:01)
13. Nosferatu's Hydraulic Glass Menagerie (3:57)
14. Spare Parts Recycling (3:22)
15. Spare Parts Recycling In Fast Tempo (7:24)

Total Time 67:44

Note: Tracks 9-15 were only included in the 1995 Artgallery AG 014 and 2008 Captain Trip Records CTCD-617 CD reissues of the album, not the original vinyl album.

The 1982 self-released vinyl LP apparently had the reference GS 1002. See https://www.discogs.com/release/136786-Conrad-Schnitzler-Convex.

For some reason, Discogs only show seven tracks on the original album, not eight as indicated on the reissues. Difficult to know for sure which is correct.

Edit: The Discogs page for the privately released 'Container' 6 x C90 cassette set from 1982: https://www.discogs.com/release/4796988-Conrad-Schnitzler-Container.

Philippe has got the year wrong for that album which needs deleting anyway. It's shown as 1985, when it should be 1982.
