I'd say either krautrock or avant-prog, but they're definitely progressive in some way.

People probably will say "urgh, they're not progressive
rock "
And then write a 1000 word review of Phaedra.

Ah, good ol dälek from 15 minutes away from me! As ya know I'm a fan, and I don't even have a problem with, good, rap but it's not rock music. I know, this isn't really the prog rock archives anymore but, well I'd need to hear a lot of their stuff. Not a knock on the group at all, and it is music but not sure where, if at all, they realistically fit.

neither is electronic music, which has some representatives in PA.

guess you havn't seen my older comments?
I reckon as a collab I should tone it down, so I will say.....
while each team is left to their own, I personally don't really agree with how additions have been going for a few years now.
Just one individual opinion there.

Listen to their album Untitled. It's a single 45 minute long track is is basically krautrock. There is barely even rapping, just a little bit of spoken word. It's not on youtube, but I'm sure you can "find" it if you are so inclined In fact I could probably upload it, but I'd rather not it will take a while Edited by Triceratopsoil - November 26 2011 at 15:20

IIRC PA requires a band to have at least one album that fits the definition of any subgenre to be added.
Their collaboration album with Faust grants the band addition.
