You guys do realize your comments are encouraging him and he is just messing with you (the keyword is LSD 25)

Sometimes trying to over-regulate just makes things worse.

I think we need to form a reviews over-site committee, that will fix everything.

John, nobody's "over-regulating" anything. These reviews are terrible, and anybody with two eyes and a brain should be able to understand that. We get that Ian is trying to be funny, but there's a difference between interspersing comical material in a well-written review and what Ian's doing.

^ True!  I think if this were coming from anyone but an official reviewer, we'd all chuckle and move on.  But there is a higher standard for him, like it or not.

1 stars This is a very fine record. You're right You're bloody well right. These guys are a fantastic Britisch banden. Er ist die besten. I really liked the song about the insane guy. Because I am insane myselfen. In Duettschland there are every good bands. But Supertrampsch iz die besten. I really liked the cover of the album. I saw them play in Jarry Park with Jean Luc Ponty opening. I really went to see Jean Luc. Vivre Le France. Vivre le France Libre. Violins kick royal ass. I realy enjoyed the whole show though because I was out of it on LSD25. Way out there man. Good record. Buy this record.

What disappointed me most was that I was looking forward to a sound thrashing of Supertramp when I saw the rating, and I got this nonsense, where the rating isn't consistent with the comments.  Moreover, it really isn't funny, even for someone who understands the Quebec and Montreal references.

As I said earlier: are all these terrible, terrible reviews being made at the same time as the "Prog Sucks" thread a coinky-dink?

Into The Everflow reviews. The one at the top has nothing to do with the album itself, but is just a fanboy preaching about the band.

The other four are also just preaching about the band and were all posted not so long apart which leads to suspicion of one person running multiple accounts. As much as I think the album IS a masterpiece, these should be removed.

^ thanks for the report, I'm having a hard time getting the member numbers of the multiple accounts, this is very unusual.

Please, anyone else looking at this, do not delete the reviews until we can get the member IDs and delete them first.

^The trouble with these reviews is that they were posted before PA required people to register their membership in order to post their reviews so there aren't any member numbers to find here.

Only a total dweeb like me would be able to spot this but Progger's review of "If I could do it all over..." by Caravan is basically a copy and paste of George Starostin's review on his Only Solitare website with maybe a few words changed here and there. The review is a couple years old so forgive me if this has been reported before. Here are ya's links. Sure hope this case is relevant.

Progger' s Yes Album review http://www.progarchives.com/Review.asp?id=134339 is a short version of Jeffrey Parks review in Amazon http://www.amazon.com/Yes-Album/product-reviews/B00007KWHN (Unless it's his name, what I doubt, because Mr. Parks is a Genesis fan and Progger hates Genesis)

His In the Court of the Crimson King review http://www.progarchives.com/Review.asp?id=134113 is a blatant copy of the Bob Eichler review at "Ground & Sky" http://www.progreviews.com/reviews/display.php?rev=kc-itcotck

Also googled his ELP debut album review and there's one already deleted from Amazon exactly the same.

I knew this guy was not real

Well mystery solved: Raindance is most likely the second nick of Progger and:

His ELP debut review http://www.progarchives.com/Review.asp?id=131447 is a partial copy from George Starastotin's review on the same album http://starling.rinet.ru/music/elp.htm#Palmer it's modified here and there but not too much.

His ITCOTCK review http://www.progarchives.com/Review.asp?id=132012 is a copy of Sean McFee's review on Ground & Sky http://www.progreviews.com/reviews/display.php?rev=kc-itcotck

His A Trick of the Tail review http://www.progarchives.com/Review.asp?id=131757 is almost identical to Joe McGlinchey's review on Ground & Sky http://www.progreviews.com/reviews/display.php?rev=gen-atott

I believe both accounts should be deleted including reviews and ratings, because it's obvious both are the same person and even copy reviews from the same sites
