Tangerine Dream's Underwater Sunlight, easily.

Runners-up: Pageant and Emerson, Lake & Powell.

The Quicksilver half of Tony Banks' Soundtracks is very good, too.

Where is Breaking Barriers by Tribute? :(

Anyway, I don't know a lot of these but I'll think about it anyway.

I'm the reverse... I know most of these albums, but I don't know Breaking Barriers by Tribute. Confused

Personal Choices

Shub Niggurath - Les Morts Vont Vite
Camberwell Now - The Ghost Trade
Univers Zero - Heatwave
News From Babel - Letters From Home

Actually more representative of the PA Top 10 for '86 with 4 of 10 in my selection including #1, #3 & #4
I would have voted for Shub-Niggurath too.
Some of the worst album of that year are listed (i.e. GTR)

My vote goes to Vangelis. I actually purchased the original vinyl during a journey in Greece together with Odes.
I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

^ Just like the old Alan Freeman show - he would name the bands at the start to get you hooked but would not say what he would be playing by them, not 'arf!

I'm guessing any fans of those 25 artists listed above will know which albums are coming up in tomorrow's poll, seeing as they're all albums released in 1987. Alright? Not 'arf!

Are you saying that Paul and Cristi are Smashey and Nicey in disguise? LOL

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

You're off the hook Paul. Tribute didn't release an album that year. LOL  Deyss did though but maybe that's a good thing they aren't on the list. Tongue Also, I'm guessing that IQ is Nomzamo. Not one of their best probably but not too bad either. It should be interesting. I think I already know what I'll vote for though. ;)

You're right. I doubt if Nomzamo will pick up many votes, but I've been wrong before. Smile
