yeah they are a barrel of laughs and if I am to have my butchering corrected... I'd take it from them. As long they as they understand I envision them doing so standing over me clad in leather and wielding whips...

sorry man.. it isn't 2016.. anyone but either?..
Biden is not HRC and the only ones who believe in anyone but either are a few leftist morons and hard core Bernie bros and we saw in 2020 just how few Bernie Bros there really are...

One can actually meddle with the mettle of a metal medal.

Too much hurt'll make you hurtle over the hurdle. Okay, you've suffered enough. But, past the hurdle, would Biden's rule be a salvation? I don't think so. Anarchy, anarchy and anarchy is the true salvation and freedom. Anyway, as I said if I were American, I'd vote for any candidate but Trump; yet as a Turk, I'd rather Trump wins.

salvation? Far from it.. it fact..I've long said and am willing to bet the ranch that it gets really messy for once what unifies the Democrats, hatred of Trump, is removed.. the circular firing squad commences between left and center. The Republicans had their civil war for control of the party.. the Democrats big tent approach may not last much longer and strongly suspect they are soon to have their own. Eventually breaking the big tent Democratic party into 2 more ideologically homogeneous parties. Though I suspect that wont happen for another 10 years or so.. and corresponding the death/relation to 3rd party status of the Republican Party.
though the virus might change that timetable and set that fight back by a few years... for dealing with Income inequality, a broken Health Cares system, the coming Global Warming disaster, and of course reigning in Wall Street... all of which divide left and center.. may have to wait upon more pressing issues such as cleaning up after Trump and dealing with the Virus.

^ Unfortunately I don't think that's quite realistic. The two party system has been in place in this country since its inception, despite the changes between the parties in the two party system. I doubt there will be a splintering of the two parties, but there will be factional infighting and to see who takes over the party. I think the Bernie-Warrencrats will eventually win that battle in the Democratic Party.

I really wonder what you guys and gals think about the Kanye West thing. I may be counted as a politically illiterate person, I wonder what people (unlike me, in this regard) think.
It just sounds like being an indicator of how pathetic the American politics is (don't worry, ours is sh*t too).
First of all, has West any political background or necessary credentials/merits to be a politician? Ok, there's Trump, but he was at least a businessman. Haha.

It might just be a joke as he has announced that he was running previously, but if there's any truth to it, he's another wealthy celebrity running for President.

Kanye West is the black version of Trump, a self-promoting egocentric sociopath, whose merchandise is made in China, and with a wife who got her start in the porn industry.

I can understand an actor with a high charisma, but Kanye looks too "non-politician", at least seemingly so.

yeah... about sums it up.. with bonus points to Kanye for having a porn star wife as opposed to a golddigger.. though one sure hopes she took the philanderer in chief to the cleaners in their prenup renunciations after all the sh*t came out about him during the 2016 campaign

Agreed, he is also a Trump supporter. So probably coming out with new product, although some think he could siphon the black vote for Biden. He's not done anything yet about actually running other than opening his big mouth. Another obnoxious celebrity. Who likes these people??????

I know there must be somebody, but I don't know anyone at all who follows or pays attention to them.....Trump we watch now because of his position....the only reason I know who these other people are is because they are so relentlessly in the media's attention.
Of course, most people I know do still have brains.

missed this earlier
not just realistic.. it is happening in front of our own eyes. A historic political realignment going on in this country.
Trump has only accelerated the shift of women, the suburbs and the educated away from the Republican Party that had been going on since 2008. and as a parting gift.. set back any real attempts to expand Republican appeal to hispanics back a decade or more
what does that mean... the Calfifornianization ..on the national level of the Republican Party. Every election cycle.. for the last decade...their path to 270 gets slimmer and slimmer.
Unles the party changes.. and it isn't and hasn't.. because it CANT NOT. It will be locked completely out of power at the national level. No chance to get the White House back.. none for tthe HOuse.. and if trends conitue.. little chance in the Senate
that my friend.. as you correctly note.. is absolutely fatal in a two party system. That is why in the next decade.. I have said with reason.. 2032.. The Republican Party dies... 2032. Hispanics are a majority of the under 30 pop in this country. Texas will be as gone to them as California is... and with a redistricting.. losing all those Electoral votes. both Senate seats and a large shuffling of House seats. They become at best a 3rd party.. but we would need a healthy 2nd party. That is where the coming split of the Democratic Party plays in.. I think both happen at the same time.. ie .. one ..causes the other.
