For the album Blink of an Eye by the band Enchant track number 9 "despicable" is misspelled. It should be spelled with the l and then e the way I just did. |

Looks like I found another one already.
The album "Magna Fabulis" by Argentinian band Nexus is a compilation not a regular studio album. My source is rate your music but it's mentioned on the Kinesis site also("Magna Fabulis (2012) compiles the long pieces Nexus contributed to Colossus/Musea’s various artist concept albums.. "). |

Thanks to Keishiro for adding this band from my hometown !
But can you correct the band name, please? It's Perséide, not Perseide. |

I'm afraid a band with "acute" cannot be researched easily but fixed.

In fact, we cannot enter any special character in the PA search box.
So it makes no difference if the Artist name is Perseide or Perséide in the database. Let me explain: 1) Searching for "Perseide" would find "Perseide" (indeed!) 2) Searching for "Perseide" would find "Perséide" (like it is right now) 3) Searching for "Perséide" would NOT find "Perseide" 4) Searching for "Perséide" would NOT find "Perséide" 5) In fact, searching for "Perséide" would find nothing (it's a bug) Same thing with Jordsjø vs Jordsjo / La Düsseldorf vs La Dusseldorf / etc. Maybe we should mention "NO SPECIAL CHARACTERS" just besides the search box?

Triumvirat - Take A Break Today/The Capitol of Power.
Isn't the vocalist on "Take A Break Today" Barry Palmer? It sounds like him. It's that unmistakable wail. The single was presumably recorded during the OLDH period but it was released later on with the B side from the Spartacus period so the lineup should be (I think): - Jürgen Fritz / piano, synthesizers - Helmut Köllen / bass (2), acoustic guitars (2), vocals (2) - Werner Frangenberg (unconfirmed) / bass (1) - Hans Bathelt / drums and percussion - Barry Palmer / vocals (1) |

^ Thanks.
I'm not a Triumvirat specialist and can't say who sings. First of all, the single was released in 1976, not in 2000 (corrected). This track was recorded at Capitol Studios, Los Angeles, October 1975 while "Old Loves Die Hard" album with Barry Palmer on vocals recorded in Germany between Jan. 5th and April 6th, 1976. Looks like chances that new singer participated in US concerts before joining the band several months later are pretty low.

Hi all, I just added a couple albums for my band WytchCrypt and need some corrections: 1) To the album, "Nous Villons Dans L'Ombre", the "Releases Information" field should read: Released 5/13/2019. Self released limited quantity CD. Bandcamp: https://wytchcrypt.bandcamp.com/album/nous-vivons-dans-lombre 2) Since a lot has changed with WytchCrypt since it was first included in the PA database 6 years ago, I'd like to update the band biography to this: WytchCrypt biography WytchCrypt is a one man doom metal band project from Dennis MONTGOMERY. Dennis began playing keyboards at the age of 4 and branched out to include drums and bass by his teenage years. In the late 70's, he played bass in ELFHOUSE and several other San Jose area prog bands. Tired of the endless drama of band relations he got a reel-to-reel and formed GENERAL COSMO, his first one man band back in 1981. As time went on, he added electric guitar to his stable of instruments and began the one man Neo Prog band MUTINY IN JONESTOWN in 1987, eventually releasing 42 albums (so far). In 1998 he formed another one man band called MORPHEUS to explore experimental electronic music releasing 13 albums (so far). Later, in 2014 he decided to mix two of his favorite things, doom metal and mellotron, into a new project called WytchCrypt. ''I always wondered what a mix of early BLACK SABBATH and KING CRIMSON might have sounded like. I wanted to combine the sludgy downtuned doom of 70's Tony IOMMI with the dissonance of early CRIMSON, and mix it with loads of mellotron and the most bizarre time signatures I could come up with. When the dust had cleared, WytchCrypt had been exhumed into the light.'' As time has gone by, WytchCrypt has evolved from a strict combination of doom metal and mellotron, to a melting pot of doom metal, mellotron, prog, vocals and techniques of 12 tone music created by classical composer Arnold Schoenberg. In prog circles, the band is classified as "Experimental/Post Metal" but in doom metal circles the band is classified as "Progressive Doom". Either way, there are not many bands exploring the same synthesis of influences as WytchCrypt. 3) Since the band now has a fully functioning Bandcamp site, could we put that link somewhere on the main band page? The bandcamp link is: https://wytchcrypt.bandcamp.com/ Thanks and please let me know if there's any other info I need to provide Dennis

For better reading I've added papagraph breaks in bio. Wouldn't it be better to replace "Biography by The.Crimson.King" with "Biography by Dennis Montgomery"?

1) Normally I would say yes, but since I wrote the bio in the 3rd person, it would sound kind of weird referring to myself by name and "he" rather than "I"...and then wouldn't it be an autobiography rather than a biography I think we should just leave it as The.Crimson.King... 2) Thanks for spacing out the bio...looks much better 3) Could you also add the link to the WytchCrypt bandcamp page (https://wytchcrypt.bandcamp.com/) somewhere under the bio? On my Mutiny in Jonestown page under the bio it says, "See also: BANDCAMP" with BANDCAMP being the link. That would be great! Thanks, Dennis

Not really an error or omission as such, but all necessary modifications to album pages seem to be posted in this thread, so I'll do the same.
I've just added Haze's new studio album 'Back To The Bones' to the site, and noticed that the cover image for their previous studio album 'The Last Battle' (https://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=40562) is shorter in height than the one I've uploaded for 'Back To The Bones'. It seems that the image originally uploaded for 'The Last Battle' must have been less than 300px in height, and hasn't been resized up to this height, so it looks odd sitting next to the image I just uploaded. A decent sized, square image for 'The Last Battle' can be found on bandcamp: https://f4.bcbits.com/img/a0935019546_16.jpg. Whilst you're on the page for 'The Last Battle', the formatting for the 'Line-up / Musicians' section isn't quite correct. There are currently no leading dashes in front of the names of the various musicians, so you might want to take the opportunity to fix this minor omission while you're there. Also the band's official website on the main page is a dead link. You could replace it with https://www.gabadon.co.uk/haze.html, or perhaps their bandcamp page: https://hazeuk.bandcamp.com/.
