Very much welcome to you here, Progmind and Keneth

and I'm certainly glad to see

Asia Minor - Between Flesh and Divine, and
Los Jaivas - Alturas de Machu Picchu

listed by you as well, Keneth  Smile

and I seem to notice quite a pleasure of listing many albums by someones. Wink

You're welcome David.  And if you haven't heard the recent reunion album of ASIA MINOR, "Points of Libration", please check it out.  Awesome, true to the spirit of those long ago days

80 Rush- Permanent Waves
     Black Sabbath- Heaven And Hell
     Abus Dangereux- Le Quatrieme Mouvement
81 Rush- Moving Pictures
     King Crimson- Discipline
     Eider Stellaire- I
     Serge Bringolf- Vision
     Kultivator- Bardomens Stigar
     Eskaton- 4 Visions
82 Step Ahead- Step Ahead
    Rush- Signals
    Saino- Saino
83 Eskaton- Fiction
    Genesis- Genesis
    Iron Maiden- Piece Of Mind
    Bacamarte- Depois Do Fim
85 Marillion- Misplaced Childhood
     IQ- The Wake
86 Univers Zero- Heatwave
    Fates Warning- Awaken The Guardian
Shub Niggurath- Les Morts Vont Vite
87 David Torn- Cloud About Mercury
88 Iron Maiden- Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son
89 Fates Warning- Perfect Symmentry
     Marillion- Seasons End

I did this list sometime last year and sorry that I've got 25 and there are prog related ones but for me the first three years of the 80's are just so nostalgic so some picks here go beyond the music to a time and often places. Those included in this are Rush, Black Sabbath, Genesis and Iron Maiden but that Fates Warning album from 89 is what got me into Prog so it's special but really good besides that and I've gotten comments about it. Pretty much everything else I discovered way later after finding out about our adventerous music

I don't think I can possibly put this in any order, so I'll just wing it here:

King Crimson - Discipline
Rush - Permanent Waves
Rush - Grace Under Pressure
Marillion - Misplaced Childhood
Queensryche - Operation Mindcrime
Voivod - Dimension Hatross
Voivod - Killing Technology
Yes - Drama
King's X - Gretchen Goes to Nebraska
Fates Warning - Perfect Symmetry
Ozric Tentacles - Pungent Effulgent
Univers Zero - Heatwave
Saga - Worlds Apart
Kansas - Audio Visions
Metallica - ...And Justice for All

I was gonna include Moving Pictures as well, but I wanted a little more variety in the list instead of just filling it with Rush albums LOL
