For prog I'm particularly looking forward to new Beardfish (!), iamthemorning, and IQ, as well as several others mentioned.
As for non prog, Bosnian Rainbows (!) Warpaint Kimbra (mainly because Omar Rodriguez-Lopez and Deantoni Parks from The Mars Volta have contributed, among others) |

I don't think I've said yet what a great year this is for prog. I'm very pleasantly surprised. I don't know much about next year other than Transatlantic and King Crimson. Here's a few I'm hoping for:
Allan Holdsworth Porcupine Tree Steve Hackett VdGG Univers Zero IQ Neal Morse Ciccada ARC Plus more great new bands like the ones I've been seeing. Sanguine Hum, Dynamo Bliss, Lifesigns, Fright Pig etc.

I've just been listening to an interview with Neal (on Youtube) where he says that he plans to release a "singer/songwriter pop album" in 2014 but his next prog release is likely to be Spring of 2015.

I like his self-titled from '99. It'll be interesting to see how he does it now. Well, presumably less Spocksy and more Christy. I could go for more tracks like "Nothing to Believe".
