hmmm...that's where I have the problem... I never have any spare beds at the weekend (as the hostel is booked out on an Exclusive Use Group Only scheme by our Head Office).... always Sunday to Thursday....
I do have a spare bed in my study, however....

I'm starting to plan the next prog curry night with the usual suspects (me, sigod, Blacksword, syzygy etc). It will be in London again somewhere but if anyone's interested in joining us for a beer or two and a meal, just drop me a PM with your email address and I'll keep you posted.
Grey Roomers welcome, but you have to give a 10 minute talk about your shed (that's the initiation ceremony).

Why thank you good sir. I guess I am older than my years in terms of wiseness, whilst Jim, on the other foot, is beyond his years in age, rather than wiseness. I mean, come on, who else would be go and visit Peter Rideout for the first time for a holiday?

So this is the grey room, huh? I'm not sure I belong. I used to be gray but now I'm starting to be white as Moses post burning bush era!

I must say, during British Summer Time (or is it GMT at the moment?), The Grey Room is busier than The Velvet Room.
Therefore, I have come to a conclusion.
British people are more interesting (generally), than our American Cousins conversationally.
Or, more accurately, most Americans over 30 are working hard, not interested in prog, sheds or mid-life crisis conversations and have 2 point 4 children, a cat, 2 canaries and a dog.
