Have you listened to it? Is it really worth the price (In Spain around 70$)?

It's not out in the UK until 12th September and it's £40 on Amazon. Could be one for the Xmas list.
It's supposed to be mostly unreleased stuff so will hopefully be good. Can't wait for the live version of Circus of Heaven!

It sounds pretty cool, but I'd rather spend my money on some other stuff. Maybe if I have a spare $50 or something.....

I REALLY want it. A live version of Awaken, from when they weren't old.....o gosh.....
also, another version of Heart of the Sunrise, and Soundchaser!
there are definetely some goodies in that boxset, i have got to get it some how. But 40 dollars is a lot.

I just got it today and have not listened to it completely. One thing I noticed right off the bat is that the sound quality is a bit dodgy on some tracks, especially the Drama Tour songs from Madison Square Garden. I was there that night, so that was first thing I listened to. On the plus side there are live versions of Astral Traveler (7:24) and Everydays (11:01) with Steve Howe in 1971. Also from 1971 is a 16 minute version of America and an 11 minute song called "It's Love". Thankfully, the sound quality is decent on these tracks. Haven't listened to the rest of it yet so I can't comment on it. Overall, I'd say disc 1 is almost worth the price for the whole set (almost).

The sound quality of the 'Drama' era songs sound excellent IMO. Just wish I could get my hands on a boot of that gig with the same quality!

i have a live version of Awaken that sounds excellent. a bit better than the original, a bit longer too. but they still sounded great, even if they were old, and i don't know if they were.

Someone tell me about the Live version of Awaken. In full detail!
The live version on Keys to Ascension isn't as good as i'd like it to be....the ensemble playing towards the beginning with the STeve Howe solo just doesn't not come through very well on that version.......
Is the version of Awaken on "The Word Is Live" as good as the studio version? if it is, i'm going to go buy it, whatever the price.

it definetely doesn't sound bad...but the harmonies are kind of.....well they sound a lot less full than in the studio version. Also, there guitar solo doesn't sort of.....rock as much as the studio one. Although, after that guitar bit, and the rocking sections that didn't quite rock, the atmospheric part with Rick Wakemen was even better then the studio one. So yes, that live version was great. But it'd be nice if the one from "THe Word Is Live" rocked a bit more. in the beginning. thats all. and since i know they were a lot younger at the time, maybe it will sound a bit rockier. hmmm.

Way to be an asshole. Just because you like all of two bands
doesn't mean you have to act so disrespectful to everything else.

OK, the sound is not perfect, but it sounds decent.
Oddly though, 'Siberian Khatru' and 'Soundchaser' are both from the Cobo hall gig in Detroit august '76, the SAME gig that yeilded 'Ritual' and 'The gates of delirium' on 'Yesshows' but they sound NOWHERE near as good as the YESSHOWS songs, they sound 'unmixed', like they were not taken from master multi track tapes but from a 2 track master, so they could not be mixed, its obvious coz the tambourine at the end of 'Soundchaser' is twice as loud as everything else!
minor flaw, but what I've heard are decent versions, the version of 'America' is bizarre! Without Wakeman, before his time and the arrangement is noticably different.
The packaging is good, just shouldve been FOUR disks!!
