Frank Zappa any time. Probably the best overall concert I have ever seen.

ELP is another great show live.

YES of course as long as Howe, Anderson, Squire are there and either Wakeman or Moratz.

Return to Forever

King Crimson's early era

Early Version of Mahavishnu Orchestra

The Soft Machine (69-70)

grateful dead   (69)

flaming lips (02)

 Gong (70-74)

on a summers day
with a big 1 hour 4 band jam at the end (during an orange and purple sundown)

thats what I think would be the best concert ever for me

King Crimson doing a three hour concert in which former members such like Mel Collins, David Cross, Bill Bruford, Greg Lake, John Wetton..etc, would join for certain songs (thouse which they performed back in the day in the albums)...and ending with everyone playing 21 century schizoid man with 10 minutes of pure guitar, sax, drumms, violin and bass improvisation...and Fripp would stand up!!!ShockedShockedShockedShockedShocked

Mine would be:

ELP - 1974 condition and material playing a wide array of fun stuff. These are the guys I really wish I could see...

Yes - "Classic" lineup doing all the good old stuff :) plus Relayer

Allan Holdsworth doing the entire "Metal Fatigue" album, but I'm lucky enough to see him on my birthday in a few weeks!

Saga - Doing stuff from Heads or Tales, Worlds Apart, Images at Twilight, etc.

I've seen Rush and they always rock, so they can't be included!
