Another example of where assumptions can get you, since you're such a huge fan of Tangerine Dream (and rated their album Ricochet with a 5, I believe) I assumed you were named after that album. Tongue

Really?  I always assumed your name came from the Procol Harum album.

Oddly enough, on the way home from school tonight the radio happened to play a PH song, though not from A Salty Dog.

In the Conan the Barbarian short story The Scarlet Citadel, everyone's favourite barbarian fights a wizard who goes by the name of Tsotha-Lanti. Toaster Mantis, well that's a deliberate mispronouncation of that. It could also mean a robot insect which I think is a pretty cool visual image.

Mine is chosen to emphasize that I prefer internet anonimity, even to my best virtual friends. The underscore is an unwished must-have because someone else signed in as "someone else", about two years before me. But this guy has not logged in for more than three years now...

That makes me think... Shouldn't unused accounts be automatically deleted after some time, say a year, of inactivity? Why do we keep them? If someone wished to come back on the forum after a couple of years he could just register anew.

Mine comes rom a nickname I had vibe baby when I played drums in a few garage bands and jam sessions back in the mid 16th century.  Also from the fact that I use the exclamation Yeah Baby !  a lot especially when I execute a feat of daring, score a goal in hockey or soccer, win a chess game etc etc . An exclamtion of victory.I thought " vibrationbaby " was more original than just " The Vibe " or  " Yeah Baby ".

Blowin Free is a song by Wishbone Ash, and it's in my number one favorite album of all-time, so I decided to name myself after this catchy track name. Also, I said people should get it because there've been many references to the song when people called my name.

I'm a diehard Chicago Cubs fan...Ernie Banks has been the face of the organization since the 1950's and all around one of the greatest ambassadors for the game of baseball.

Boring story...

1st internet board I was on was the University of Illinois Basketball forum...our coach had made a comment about wearing orange undies "Once you go orange you never go back." I was a 94 grad, so my first board name was nevergoback94.

That became nevergoback and on one of the songwriting forums I used to go on frequently, people started saying negoba.

So since then I'm negoba.

ZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzz............
You are quite a fine person, and I am very fond of you. But you are only quite a little fellow, in a wide world, after all.

As much as I enjoyed the first Matrix movie, and even somewhat the 2nd and 3rd....

Better than Gob I guess.
