Genesis: Invisible Touch (though all the ones from that period are pretty bad)

Pink Floyd: Ummagumma (especially the studio side)

Rush: Fly By Night (though 2112 isn't much better)

Yes: Tormato

Marillion: Radiation or Brave

Yes - Big Generator.
Dream Theater - Octavarium.
Pendragon - Most of what followed Masquerade Overture.
Van Halen - III (some have used the band, alien to progressive manneurisms, so I'll take it it's allowed).

This is why you should let Robin save the day...

Pink Floyd - TFC (my fav band, THE worst album ever)

Camel - ICSYHFH (lost of time and energy)

Deep Purple - Slaves and masters (Love Ritchie but I can't listen to this piece of sh*t)

Iron Maiden - Virtual IX and, in a minor proportion, No Prayr for the dying

Led Zeppelin - ITTOD (not a bad album, but weak in comparison to the the others - Coda doesnt count, is a posthumous rip-off

Renaissance - Azure D'or (the last of the classic line-up; side two is awful. Blame Jon Camp, Haslam said once)

Metallica (in a prog site?) - Black Album (the last album I can hear for this band. Weak, but not bad)

Rush - Presto (but I hate their 80's albums, and this is the only I had for his era)

Yes - Big Generator

and the list goes on and on...

Pink Floyd

Division bell, it's not bad but rather boring. Honestly Waters departure hurt the band a lot.
Maybe they were past their peak anyway but an album as The final cut at least had some  punch left.

Elo

Discovery bad (Horace wimp) to mediocre(Shine a little love, Confusion and a few others), what a great comeback Time was!.

Mike Oldfield

Guitars, there are probably worse (Earth moving, Heavens open) but these i don't know. I haven't heard Guitars for quite a while though ( i don't rememeber even one song from it), will give this one another try.

Why am i not mentioning dissapointing outings by for instance Yes and Genesis. Above artists i've known for 20 years or so  and i bought their records on account of what i heard of them previously ,hoping they were good (generally they were) .

Yes and Genesis i know since i started listening  to prog and visiting this site, based on info on this site it became clear very soon that picking up albums after Going for the one (Yes) and Wind and Wuthering (Genesis) would probably not be rewarding.

Overall I think i agree here, Delicate sound of thunder is the live album with the over the top female choruses isn't it?. I'm not that fond of Momentary Lapse but at least I liked Learning to fly and The turning away here. I don't know about About face but a long time ago i once heard another solo album of DG. I think it was called just David Gilmour. As i remember it there were a few good tracks and a lot of filler here.

Pink Floyd: "Together we stand, Divided we fall", how true.

I reckon the worst Hawkwind album is "Chronicle of the Black Sword", too heavy metal-ish and jangly for me.

Re: Obscured by Clouds, I think it's great!! I guess Lapse and Final Cut are my least-fav Floyd.

Dream Theater - Train of Thought

And it might as well be raining, 'cause the sunlight hurts his eyes,
And his ears will never hear the children's cries

Pink Floyd- Piper at The gates of dawn. I fail to find anything halfway decent on this album.

Anderson Wakeman Bruford Howe. this album is terrible except for the The Meeting which is decent.

Dream Theater- Everything. I know people are gonna hate me for this, but I cant seem to get over the fact that even though these guys have pretty impressive technical abilities on their instruments, they fail to make inventive or interesting music as a band. Every song is basically the same redigested idea of something else or just technical for the sake of being technical. and the lyrics are pretty much terrible.

Opeth- Orchid (they slowly but surely got a LOT better after this and became the awesomness that they still are today)

DT - Falling into Infinity - Ugh
Rush - Everything after Signals - It makes me genuinely sad to remember how the mighty have fallen

I've also got to say that Orchid is typical of first albums, a little raw and naive, but it's my favourite Opeth.

This is pretty easy, I have to go with a list though:

Queen - Flash Gordon Soundtrack, Hot Space
Styx - Cornerstone, Kilroy Was Here
Kansas - Drastic Measures
Dream Theater - When Dream And Day Unite
Yes - Big Generator, Union, Open Your Eyes
ELP - Love Beach
Genesis - Calling All Stations, Abacab
King Crimson - Beat
Spock's Beard - Octane
Marillion - Marbles (the only Marillion I outright despise)
Floyd - Dark Side (yes I said it)
Uriah Heep - Conquest, Head First
Jethro Tull - Under Wraps (was it serious)
Queensryche - Q2K (Empire gets an honorable mention)
