actually I heard Trout Mask was a classic! But not sure - Giant for a day stinks too I agree. I got this with the Missing Piece and it was like alternate universes!

never heard Giant for a day, but i cannot say enough good about the Missing Piece!

this is one of the worst albums there are. I really love the first two albums of the Cosmic Jokers, but "Gilles Zeitschiff" is simply horrible. oh those lyrics! "Tim bleibt in der Schweiz! Tim bleibt bei uns!" ("Tim remains in Switzerland! Tim remains with us!"). the "Tim" spoken of here is no-one else but Mr. Timothy Leary, with whom Ash Ra Tempel had a close connection (the Cosmic Jokers have several Ash Ra Tempel musicians in their line-up).if at least the music would be one steady flow, as on the first two albums of the Cosmic Jokers - but no, hacked into small useless pieces that don't really develop.
