To mark the last ever Genesis gig in London on Saturday, what is your favourite live album of theirs?  I really wish I had got a ticket now but I did see them three times over the years.  There are moments of brilliance across all these albums...farewell Genesis and Phil in particular; so sad what has happened to him.

(PS: I realise I have just skated over the Archives releases which have some great live material on them...but not released as 'live' albums as such.  Oh well, I am sure this will be pointed out to me...)

Seconds Out
Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive
Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.

I could choose anything except The Way We Walk.

Back in 2004, a friend of mine had a Genesis live album from the ATTW3 tour, obviously a bootleg but the quality was great. I remember I burned my own copy which I listened a lot back then. Smile A shame I don't have it anymore and don't know where and how to get it back. EmbarrassedUnhappy

Only 'Burning Rope' from that tour got an official release on 'Archives'.  Shame.  I saw them at Knebworth in 78 and they were great!

It is one of the better bootlegs I've listened to.

I chose Seconds Out. I missed an opportunity to see them in 1987 when they came to Philadelphia. Wish that I had.

Live and Seconds Out. Both are really good to my ears and bring a lot of great memories.

Seconds Out by quite a margin (a full disc, actuallyTongue) , though if their first Live album had been a double one (there was sufficient material to do so), I'd probably like it as much.

Seconds Out, a hair above Live. Both are awesome.
Welcome to the middle of the film.

'Live', Peter Gabriel (at his Genesis best), Phil Collins (on full time drums) and Steve Hackett.  NUFF said.

Can anyone seriously vote for any of the latter 4 choices???

I've always really liked Live, but it's Seconds Out all the way for me... one of THE greatest live albums by any band...

While Seconds Out certainly has a solid playlist, I have to go with the original Genesis Live album, but it has to be the remastered Live in Leicester Dutch Pressing which includes Supper's Ready.
Absolutely stellar !
Thank you for supporting independently produced music

Seconds Out----one of the best live albums ever---shocking Phil could do this so early in replacing Peter.

Live. It has it all for that era of the band.

I voted for Seconds Out. I could have seen them for ATTW3 tour but the only seats available were nosebleed level, so my and I passed. Instead, we saw Foghat. They put on more of a show than I anticipated - costumes, a cool stage design, light show, and dynamic performances. Phil Collins looks so frail now
