If any of you Yes fans are, like me, tempted by the 3CD box-set of live Yes material released a little while ago, but put off by the silly prices asked for it, I've just seen and ordered it from amazon (UK) for under £14. (Sorry if this plug is inappropriate, its not meant as an advert for the ubiquitous internet seller!). Same set was in HMV Oxford Street for £40+ a few weeks ago.....

Phil:

I have not heard this, although by coincidence I was looking at it on Amazon last night. It seems they wrongly advertised it as a DVD package, when in fact it's just CD's. I assume you noticed that?

Must admit, I'd rather it was a DVD, but I'm pempted anyway. Let us know what it's like. I've really got to watch the pennies tbis month. I've just bought a VDGG double DVD and book pack for over £20. My bank statement arrived today, and it wasn't a pretty sight...

Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!

Andy, it appears that, for some reason, amazon thought one of the discs was a DVD. Anwyay, I've ordered it, it must be worth £14 for 3 CDs. I'll let you know what it's like.

got it the day it was released.... worth every penny.  Loved hearing the Tormato tracks... so much better than the studio versions.

Was stung 50 quid for this set but it was well worth the money. I love the packaging too.

bingo that sealed the deal... all the photos the 'testimonials' just added to the great music anyway. Only complaint was the way the CD's themselves were packaged in the set... easy to scratch trying to take out.
