I like it. :) But I tend to like things electro, so I'm not really surprised. It's good to hear that they're experimenting with their sound.

Well I'm back.

The concert was dreadful, though if you like your live music at unbearably loud volumes this is the one for you. It was just too loud for me, and that is saying something. Two acts preceded PRR and I had to go out into the entrance bar to get some relief - and this is with ear defenders in!! I should have realised something was amiss during the first act when I could feel my jeans waffing against my leg with the pressure waves - or maybe I should have shaved my legs beforehand?? Anyway it was just horrible - talk about not seeing the wood for the trees, I couldn't hear the music for the volume.

And then PRR came on and had their own soundie - and he was louder!!!@@"*&$. Sorry PRR but one minute into the second number I left. I couldn't tell what the first piece was. I got the CD of the new album so I'll listen to it sometime in the future when I have recovered - hope the sound engineer is different to the concerts engineer. So all in all a pretty naff evening, good job I hadn't travelled far and the entrance fee was reasonable, so all I lost was an evening.

Hope the volume isn't as high if anyone else is going to see them.

Final score 0.5/10 for turning up.

Must be a venue issue Rob.

I saw them at the Arts Centre in Norwich last friday and the sound levels were just fine.

They were bloody excellent although I have to say I'm finding it very hard to enjoy AVO. Confused

^ Must have been. Fired off an e-mail of complaint to them as well. Never going back there again. Just shows how good the Classic Rock Society are at arranging concerts. Definitely go there again. I'm calming down a bit now so I might listen to AVO sooner rather than later.

Seeing as the primary PRR thread is closed. I'll use this one.

Massive PRR fan. TDT is obcourse their best release so far. Amir Vincit Omnia is still great, but not quite as good.

Have we had any info on their 3rd release/album? I can't find any info on it whatsoever.

Amir Vincit Omnia was a solid record. Some good ideas and the usual quality in the performance, but nothing really special to my ears. I rather prefer the previus one.
