Sad news: TAPP was a very special part of my early years as music appreciator and collector.

A Youtube video like this can be a proper tribute to his memory: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dhZlfC4LVRY

Oh my goodness! Another virtuoso first Andrew Lattimer (Camel) now Eric Woolfson
I'm feeling a deep empty lonely feeling, a huge loss. His contributions along with A.P. created that clean sound with effects & layering. My favorites are EVE, Pyramid & Turn of a Friendly card....RIP Brother Eric!
We'll see you in that great gig in the sky (heaven)..........

Rick Wright and Eric Woolfson are two great losses this year. Both their passings ensure I will never get to see two of my most-favourite bands (PF and APP) in full reunion.

Rest in peace Eric. hope you finally find your ammonia avenue up there.

And who are we to justify the right in all we do
Until we seek, until we find Ammonia Avenue

Most sad indeed. R.I.P. Eric.

Incredibly sad, one of the trilogy of Alan Parsons Project genius has gone before his time.

Rest in Peace Eric.

He has made such good things musically with APP... That's sad.

He did not die (THANK GOD). YOU SCARED THE sh*t OUT OF ME! I'D RIP OUT YOUR GUTS IF I COULD! Andy is just ill, and his state is currently getting much better! Do not speak of him like he is dead!

phew, I really was shocked by this uncofirmed news (Latimer's death)...
Regarding Woolfson, it's a terribly sad news indeed, a talented musician he was and hopefully his memory will remain...

There was a very nice obituary in The Guardian, and this is very sad news.
