I 'discovered' Be Bop Deluxe relatively recently and so far only own their compilation "Raiding The Divine Archive" album - but my early favorite must be Adventures in a Yorkshire Landscape which I've heard in both studio and live versions.

Hi,
I like Axe Victim and Sunburst Finish ... forever ... and I'm not sure I can choose a song I like better than the other. But what a massively good guitarist this guy is.

Can't believe that nobody has Crying to the Sky in the top five.
Best awesome guitaring really capturing the feel of the song.
For all round classic be-bop style, then Dangerous stranger is the one.
So many others are brilliant including sister seagull, blazing apostles
So many great songs to choose from (are there any bad ones??)
as I said in my earlier post they have to be one of the most under appreciated bands of the seventies. I also think Bill Nelson is one of the most talented people to come out of that decade. I never get bored of his songs and guitar playing. He could move in and out of art rock, prog rock , punk rock without ever sounding remotely contrived.
