Mine are:

I 'discovered' Be Bop Deluxe relatively recently and so far only own their compilation "Raiding The Divine Archive" album - but my early favorite must be Adventures in a Yorkshire Landscape which I've heard in both studio and live versions.

Tongue Great band, and, of course one of the best electric guitarists ever.

Adventures in a Yorkshire landscape
Jean Cocteau
Music In Dreamland
Sleep That Burns
Modern Music

I would hope you have a copy of SUNBURST FINISH. It was their best when I was deeply into their music.

Hi,

I like Axe Victim and Sunburst Finish ... forever ... and I'm not sure I can choose a song I like better than the other. But what a massively good guitarist this guy is.
Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!

Can't believe that nobody has Crying to the Sky in the top five.

Best awesome guitaring really capturing the feel of the song.

For all round classic be-bop style, then Dangerous stranger is the one.

So many others are brilliant including sister seagull, blazing apostles

1) Mill St Junction
2) Axe Victim
3) Jet Silver and the Dolls of Venus
4) Fair Exchange
5) Blazing Apostles

Honourable mention...from the Bill Nelson solo album "Sound on Sound" - Better Home in the Phantom Zone

So many great songs to choose from (are there any bad ones??)

as I said in my earlier post they have to be one of the most under appreciated bands of the seventies. I also think Bill Nelson is one of the most talented people to come out of that decade. I never get bored of his songs and guitar playing. He could move in and out of art rock, prog rock , punk rock without ever sounding remotely contrived.

Wonderful Band. Shame they went off the rails with Drastic Plastic.

My favourite tracks are the Modern Music Suite, consisting of the tracks:

- Modern Music
- Dancing in the Moonlight
- Honeymoon on Mars
- Lost in the Neon World
- Dance of the Uncle Sam Humanoids
- Modern Music (Reprise)

Melodies to make someone else die for.

I'm one of the few who prefers Modern Music over Sunburst Finish

I actually prefer Drastic Plastic to Sunburst Finish and Modern Music, so there you go.
