Iona. Hereafter it becomes difficult, but Pentangle and Horslips are worth mentioning.

I love a lot of these, but I'm definitely not a fan of Mostly autumn, Karnataka, Iona and Blackmore's Night.
.... and I don't really find Decemberist very folk prog, but more a sort of folky alt-rock or indie-rock band.
I'd choose my preferred ones between Spirogyra, Pentangle, Conus, Gryphon, Jaivas, JDDG and the early strawbs (Hooper-Hudson-Ford era)... I guess pentangle takes it.

Most of my favourite bands are in there!
I love Strawbs, Gryphon, Iona, Pentangle, Blackmore's Night, but I am completely in love with the music of Mostly Autumn and Horslips.
Horslips did two of the greatest albums of all time - The Tain and The Book of Invasions; anyone who hasn't heard these really should. They also did several other great albums, including a fabulous live one and a reworking of their greatest songs.
Mostly Autumn did two fabulous masterpieces - The Spirit of Autumn Past and The Last Bright Light - as well as many other very good albums.
But MA just get my vote because Horslips did a couple of true turkeys (The Unfortunate Cup of Tea and Short Stories, Tall Tales) in amongst the great stuff.

Because The Incredible String Band is not an option I'll have to choose between Horslips, Gryphon and Strawbs.
And Strawbs gets my vote, they have so many fantastic albums ...

That´s quite meaningless. How relationship is between these two bands? What do you actually consider Dead Can Dance for?
And finally: Who´s that mysterious girl in your avatar and signature photos?

Comus may have put out the best prog folk album I've ever heard but I voted for the Decemberists, mostly because I've been listening to them since the beginning and am enjoying watching them evolve and grow as the band matures. Faun Fables is another guilty pleasure.
Strawbs are high on the list for a large body of work that stands the test of time. Carol of Harvest had only one album in their prime but it's a must-have for any prog folker. Actuala, Sedmina, In the Labyrinth, Congreso, Errobi, Sad Minstrel, the Third Estate and Wovenhand all deserve a mention as well. But the one I really can't believe you left out is Pearls Before Swine. I might have voted for them over the Decemberists.

Oh so true!
... and Faun Fables is an intersting mention. I suppose if one manages to get past those vocals, they might find a nice little band. I failed miserably at doing that. Anyway, my vote goes to Spirogyra, the other prog/acid folk giants .

I could go for Gryphon, Comus or Carmen. I went with Carmen because they didn't have a vote yet.
