The "short songs" thread in Prog Blogs makes me think it would be nice to have collection/poll of really short songs, so I start this thread for you to nominate songs (optimally with link) of which I then later will produce two polls. There are two categories:
Category 1 - max 90 seconds
Category 2 - between 91 and 180 seconds (3 minutes).

Here are my nominations (at least those I think of right now):
Category 1 - Art Zoyd has a number of albums that are split up into quite short tracks and I love what they do with those.

Category 2 - love that song!

I almost never hear of a reference to Stormwatch!
Clap

It's been a while... I have it on vinyl only.

No Civilization here. Tried it on but it would not fit.
Seems only a thin veneer. A little rubbing and it comes off quick.

What a nice idea for a thread, Lewian! I see two of my favourites have already been mentioned (especially Dun Riggell! ❤️), but I'll have to have a deep think and a trawl through the old collection to find any others (I'm sure they exist - but I need time at my age! )

Tough to find stuff for category 1 (tried to find something that sounded like a complete piece, rather than an excerpt from a concept album), but it turns out the original version of Frank Zappa's Pound For A Brown is exactly 90 seconds long. I do prefer the longer version from Zappa In New York, though.

Another Jethro Tull nomination for category 2 - Ian Anderson had quite a lot of short, mostly solo acoustic pieces, but I think Fire At Midnight really captures the sound of the full band in a short time-span.

All are these are in the "longer" category I think
I second the nomination of Camel's "Spirit of the Water" and also add "Aristillus" and the original version of "Pressure Points" which kicked off "Stationary Traveller".  The fully fleshed out version is better but the short version is pretty good too.

King Crimson's "Lady of the Dancing Water"
Moody Blues "Story in Your Eyes"
Circulus "Scarlatti"
Kerrs Pink "Lady of the Lake"
so many more but I can't easily figure out how to find them without searching my frayed internal memory banks

In the even shorter category is the lovely "Remembering" by Strawbs from Ghosts, which is the intro to "You and I when we were young" but also a separate track that stands on its own quite well
