| I would have called them thrash metal, though not the usual crap. They borrow elements of prog and speed metal, but overall the sound seems to owe more to thrash. Whatever the heck they are, they're pretty good. |

I would say no- I see them as Power Metal as well- boderline Death metal- I think their songs are a bit too 4/4ish, and similar to one-another to be considered prog- Your right about Communic Jody- they are awesome. ------------- |

So you mean if they threw in more 7/8 or 17/16 they might be more prog?

Yes, it is *one* element - but certainly not the only one. And because of that it is wrong to deduce from a lack of time signature changes (or unusual signatures) that something isn't progressive.
