4 stars Top notch one shot wonder prog metal band from mid '90 from Italy with a greek name Arkhe - meaning start and a very solid album released in 1997 selftitled. Conducted by guitar master Gianluca Ferro (who will find him later on on some respected prog metal acts from Italy and not only, Time Machine, Hear of Sun and aswell he has a solo career) who maneging to creat a very strong full of nice complicated passages and damn fineideas all over together with his mates. Almost unknown in prog metal circles, they desearve more then meets the eye, to me is one hell of great prog metal release, amomg the best Italy ever done. Long elaborated pieces, where the guitar , keyboards make something of a worth listen, the first 4 pieces ae killer with a plus on The Grey Falcon. The voice is more then pleasent and is fiting perfect in this type of music. Quite hard to find today, but if you found it, I can only recommed this little treasure, very nice one in prog metal field. Similar with let's say Time Machine, Madsword, Empty Tremor, etc. 4 stars, very nice art work.
