Review by Seyo

2 stars After the commercial success of their previous album "Izlog jeftinih slatkisa", BULDOZER opted for another unexpected experiment. With old friend J. Zmazek replacing the departed guitarist D. Slamnig, they recorded this EP/mini album (12" vinyl on 45rpm), under the title which is a South-Slav phonetic reading of English "Rock And Roll - All Stars Band". The kitschy cover showcased 6 songs done in rockabilly/revival style, one of them being the re-writing of the standard "Blue Suede Shoes". While this record is nowhere near the scope of the progressive rock, it was done with confidence that, apart from BULDOZER standard approach of heretical and satiric discourse towards the accepted values, they in fact genuinely admired and respected the rock roots expression. However, given the wider perspective of this site and even BULDOZER general opus, I can hardly rate it more than 2 stars - for fans only!
