2 stars Like any album from a 5 CD series ''La Vorágine I - V'', ''La Reforma'' initially is not intended to reach more or less noticeable commercial success.

If the first CD of the series, ''Pan Negro'', consists mostly of blues jams, long tracks of ''La Reforma'' are band's experiments with atonal music (not an easy thing to describe). The key idea is absolute musical freedom - from forms, structures, melodies.

The album title is symbolical. The concert took place in the venue called La Reforma. And, according to the information in the booklet, it was the first band's concert under the name LOS JAIVAS. Before this day in May 1970 they called HIGH BASS (both names, having different meanings, are pronounced similar).

Sound quality is like on good bootleg.

2 stars, but nothing negative from my side. It's good that such records for fans exist.
