3 stars If you sincerely think that the ancient Egyptians, as well as other ancient peoples have had contacts with the aliens and were in posses of a secret knowledge you will probably think that the modern scientists wants to be blind and ignore the evidence. This seems to be the concept of this Senmuth's album which follows the excellent Bar-do Tos-Grol.

This instrumental album is more oriented to the Industrial Metal side of Senmuth. There are of course short excursions into world and ambient music, but not as invasive as usual. I think this album can be compared with "Internal Images" for the capacity of evoking mental images and with "Muzika Stranstviy" for its subtle darkness, but it also contains very hard metal moments like in "Rejection of the Obvious", song that alternates a sweet melodic line with a death metal guitar.

In some parts this album sounds like a return to the times of Cognitive DIscord, but in the meantime Senmuth has very improved his composing skills, so this album doesn't have the meaningless changes of pitch (or at least there are very few) which affected the earlier releases.

Not all the tracks are of the same level, and also inside the same track we can find strengths and weaknesses as in "Scientific Crucifixion" which is excellent when it turns to ambient, disconnected on the world side and too repetitive on the metal side, with some time left for a melodic part at around minute 5.

The track which I consider the album's highlight is "Zodiacal Fallacy" which denotes an increased attention to the structure and the melodic line even remaining in an industrial metal environment.

An averagely good Senmuth album which doesn't add much to the enormous discography of this Russian artist but is good enough for who likes 41 minutes of darkness.
