3 stars 'Geiser 421' is one long 21 minute track that I had the pleasure to have caress my ears on afternoon while relaxing after another day above ground. Rodrigo Ammannato plays guitar, Federico Razetti is on drums, Hern'n Casella plays bass and Emanuel Pin is on keyboards. The Argentinian quartet focus on many moods in their music and this is nothing like the album that has been released, 'Mente y Gravedad' which is more heavy prog than the spaced out music on this EP.

Impulso De Los Sonidos Inconscientes provides a texture of organic experimental fusion mixed with layers of ambience. The music is concentric on waves of keyboards, space rock axe work, unlike the heavy guitars on the album release, and pulsating basslines. This epic is an improvisation of atmospherics using gradual intensifications of cadence and layers of tranquil key pads to create a serene soundscape.

The guitar work is outstanding and has a spacey glissando style not unlike early Pink Floyd in their experimental psych phase. The bass even has the psychedelic sound of the 70s, like something from 'Ummaguma' or 'Saucerful of Secrets'. The music builds into improvised scratchy wah-wah guitar, and tends to grow on the ear the deeper into the track it goes. The synth swirls are wonderful and there is some heavy handed drumming on this. If you are after the much heavier prog side of the band you will have to go elsewhere and thankfully the album release is a heavy experimental prog 70s sound, well worth checking out.
