3 stars A breaking news, that a Finnish experimental electronic unit TOMUTONTTU has released an ep titled "Elävänä Ullakolla" upon July 11, 2020, has really amazed me. TOMUTONTTU is a solo project formed by Jan ANDERZÉN. His album "Hylyt" is tremendous and brilliant for me, and I have been looking forward to his novel soundscape. He says this ep was recorded live at The Musa Ullakolla 5 Online Festival, that completely immerses me through eccentric, mysterious atmosphere. What an impressive sound illustration created with his sound / noise / illumination blended with passion and enthusiasm of the audience in front of him.

A great impact is the first applause in "Alku Puhtaat Kädet". Not simple applause by the audience. This is one of 'gears' of this track. Such an idea you could not come up with at all. As the song goes forward, you will have quite weird, mystic sound occasions launched via his synthesizer and sound mixture. There is definitely elusive essence tough to catch all over the track, but hey why not charming? In the second track "(Luulin Että Tiesin Mutta) Vähänpä Tiesin" convoluting sound tips plus eerie noises or voices based upon acceptable, danceable melodic, rhythmic lines. This sound fusion can be called as kinda fantastic confusion.

The last "Jos Asianne Koskee Kuutamoa, Painakaa Yksi" full of dreamy, hallucinogenic elements, will drive you into another dimension. Ethnic taste of blood, quiet synthesizer-based tone collective, comfortable rhythm temperature ... everything is gentle and peaceful. Guess we would be happy under such a calm moonlight even though there are lots of tough cases all over the world. And the last is applause of the audience again. My happiness is this creation. Please have a try.
