Artist statement:
"This album was first recorded in 1988 (except the track "Beijing"; 1982), containing far-east inspired music and music for relaxation and meditation. Since the performance and sound quality was not suited for release, eric re-recorded the tracks. "Beijing" and "The holy man" were re-recorded in the 90's on Tascam 238 8-track, and the rest of the tracks in 2023 using Reason. The japanese word "mokuso" is used in the budo arts and means "eyes closed", prompting for a short meditation before and after the budo class.
