Eric G biography
Known only by his pseudonym, Eric G is a synthesist and composer based somewhere in Sweden. As of 2023, Eric G has released seventeen albums of bright, sequencer-driven neo-Berlin School music in the post-Tangerine Dream/Schulze/Jarre vein of the SynGate record label.

As a young man in the 1970's, Eric G took inspiration from those three progressive electronic paragons as well as Yes, Genesis and Mike Oldfield, his passion eventually galvanising him to record his own music and begin an extensive collection of synthesizers in 1979. Eric G honed his composition and performing technique over the next twenty years, recording a number of tracks and compiling dozens of private cassettes. With skill and confidence built by time and experience, Eric G re-recorded most of his early work, with a curated collection of these results released on the 2001 compact disc debut Conclusion, followed up with 2010's Illusions and 2011's Visions.

Starting with 2018's Nophricord, Eric G abandoned the CD format and began releasing exclusively digital albums via his Bandcamp.
