Artist statement:
"One Friday or Saturday in July 1988 I was waiting for a girl to come visit me. It would be the first time she came by. After a while I was bored waiting, so I went to the studio and started it up. I then recorded "Before Arrival" in one improvised take with no overdubs or editing, direct to cassette tape. On the following Sunday evening, my wonderful guest left my home, and I recorded "After Departure" in the same way. In retrospecive, I can say that I am very happy with these tracks. They could almost be released as-is, but there were some flunks in performance and mixing so I decided to re-record everything now in 2023.
And the girl, I never met her again. /eric
