Eternal Essence biography
ETERNAL ESSENCE are a instrumental progressive metal band from Atlantic City,New Jersey. The band formed in 2004 when EJ (drums),Josh (bass) and Greg (keyboards) joined forces. For two years the trio wrote, rehearsed and performed their original compositions all over the central and southern New Jersey area. They received positive feedback from local newspapers and radio stations, and were being reviewed and interviewed by numerous e-zines and websites. In 2006 ETERNAL ESSENCE added guitarist Gary Hoffman to their line-up,and in 2008 self-released their five song debut EP "The Infinite Procession".

ETERNAL ESSENCE play diverse instrumental prog metal, with some symphonic and art rock elements thrown in,making for a very pleasing and original sound and style.Highly recommended and a band to watch for in the future.

— First review of this album —
4 stars I saw them play a show at the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville NJ.

It was a Battle of the bands where the top three bands went on the warped tour, needless to say I was dragged there by a friend.

To my surprise there was a progressive metal band playing called Eternal Essence. They blew my mind live and I had to buy there CD. There all really nice guys too.

The Infinite Procession is amazing, recording quality could have been a little better, guitars were a little thin but the music as a whole is great. They're even better now that they have a vocalist, can't wait to hear a new album with her on it :)
