Fairy Tale biography
FAIRY TALE is the artistic child of musician, composer and producer Peter KRAVEC who came up with the name while he was at college in 1994. Between the years 1997-1998 the band recorded three demo songs, then during the next four years Peter worked as a music editor, program editor and also as a dramaturge. In 2003 he was managing the band CHILL ON THE SUN for a while and during that period he met the very talented vocalist Barbora KOLARIKOVA, the lead singer of that band. Barbora was thrilled by Peter's demo songs and so they created the band FAIRY TALE, together with the support of other guest musicians.

The first self released EP 'SOUND MIRRORS' (2005) was a mix of rock, jazz, electronic and world music. Three years later they recorded full album 'DREAM '(2008) which came directly under the Slovak publishing brand HEVHETIA. 'DREAM' is closer to art-rock sound of 70's with a melancholy haze. It keeps on getting very good reviews at home as well as in other countries. The third studio album 'LOVELAND' (2011, HEVHETIA) is again an ambitious work and you can listen to another progressive rock songs with a touch of world music. FAIRY TALE albums are very well produced because Peter KRAVEC has several years of experience and he also provides his own recording studio.

Review by alainPP

2 stars 'Bypass 2 Introduction' with the presentation simply leading to 'State of Neurotica' dating from 2011, trippy, latent cinematic atmosphere, it rhymes; drums and sharp guitar for a raw 70s sound; the nervous voice takes on that of the Plasmatics in the verse, more melted for the chorus; Peter's spleen guitar solo on a melancholy tone and a Deep Purple background. 'Acoustic Dream' and its follow-up come from the 2008 album 'Dream'; solemn air, very Hagenian voice, radio sounds, slow depressive rise bordering on a cold wave from the 80s; the guitar takes us on a tour of the feedback limits; instrumented title compared to the original. 'Babel On' with Barbora screaming, in connection with the storm that hit the evening of the recorded show? The surly vocal side of Chrissie Hynde prolongs the haunting effect of the title, eyeing certain B-52's titles, to say that prog rock is far enough away; the tortured finale.

Fairy Tale releases this 2nd digital EP to keep people waiting, ideal for their fans.
