Arrowwood is the psychedelic folk project of British-born musician Chelsea Robb, now residing in the United States. Inspired by Wicca and the wonders of nature, the enigmatic artist has released four albums of ethereal, ghostly "forest folk" from 2006 to 2017, including a split release with like-minded American group Novemthree. Aside from guitar and voice, the multi-instrumentalist adorns her albums with exclusively acoustic instruments such as flute, harmonium, sitar, bouzouki, harp, hurdy-gurdy and singing bowls. Across her work, Robb has collaborated with Novemthree's Pythagumus Marshall and Josh Lovejoy, along with Kim Larsen of :Of the Wand & the Moon: and Solanaceae.

Arrowwood's shadowy world will be of interest to fans of Fern Knight, In Gowan Ring, Ghost, Espers, Solanaceae, Lisa o Piu, the Hare and the Moon, Fursaxa and United Bible Studies.

"Hemlock and Spindle Flower" (2006)

"Arrowwood / Novemthree"

"Beautiful Grave" (2013)

"Eye Of Ivy, Thorn And Moss" (2016)

"Dark Fairytales" (2017)

Ya tryin' to keep us busy?? Angry
First taste is OK, but I've only sampled one album.  Wink

let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter
keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,
prefer lifting our pen
rather than un-sheath our sword

Only if you want me to Wink. For what it's worth, I only have six other suggestions on my Prog Folk list so far (and two of them may very well turn out to be Psych/Space or RIO).

Definitely Wyrd/psych/acid/prog Folk
Reminds me a fair bit of Espers
Close enough for me, if you're ok with it.

nothing much seems to happen in this music but I guess that's how I feel with a lot of wyrd folk.  Still, yes from me.  Gordy, I can add it.  Is the bio you provided good to go?

Thanks, Ken. The bio is wholly my own, feel free to use it as you two see fit.

I appreciate it, Ken. I'll start doing so later today.

And Hugues, any thoughts on the Revolutionary Army?
