Shaking the Tree version is the one I know best, I actually wasn't aware the song appeared on the Fripp album until now. Apparently every version since the debut album is the stripped down arrangement, and was actually Gabriel's initial intention but he was overruled by Bob Ezrin.

You are quite a fine person, and I am very fond of you. But you are only quite a little fellow, in a wide world, after all.

Honestly, all of these are very good choices. Well since your wife likes christian music, Neal Morse is a good idea. Then try June, and if you're lucky and she likes both of those you can play The Great Nothing. Happy Anniversary and best wishes to you and "Mrs. Epignosis"

| Been there- won't do that again.
I had it on in the car one time, and it got to one part and she says, "I like this!"
Unfortunately, she can't stomach the other 22 minutes of it.

Congrats! Have a nice wedding anniversary day! Spock's Beard, Neal Morse, Pink Floyd, Tull, ELP and some more might give a good mix.

Coming Like Light by IZZ. Some of the most beautiful words ever and it still an epic:
"When she speaks to me and stares into my eyes
I am suddenly aware that I am alive there's no more lies
So I reach for her and she moves closer to me
whispering a secret faithfully
She says to love someone is
to learn the song that is inside their heart
and to sing it to them when
they cannot remember how it starts
I will sing your song when you need it my love
I will sing your song be sure that with me you belong"
Can't think of a better anniversary gift than that.
Happy Anniversary!

Out of those I know, Rest Will Flow, seems to have the best lyrics for a wedding anniversary. Optimism for the future, unless I heard them wrong.

| Optimism eh?
Fancy that it comes after "Last Chance to Evacuate Planet Earth Before it is Recycled."

Ha! Becky loves The Light. Which is strange, because it's one of maybe four Spock's Beard songs she actually likes. I think she just has to give the rest of their stuff a chance, give the odd stuff some more time to settle in. Maybe I'll just give her all of V and Snow and see where this gets her. Hm. Sorry. Continue with the thread about YOUR woman.

I went with "From the begining".
Speaking of which on the way home last night, KHTS played "Yours in no disgrace" and "From the begining", back to back. I can't remember hearing two prog songs babk to back on the radio. It was epic.

Happy Anniversary! What number is this one?
My wife, a staunch prog-hater, told me Lazarus was "pretty good", so that probably would work.

We're on number six.
Say, isn't the sixth year traditional wedding gift prog?
We're going to The Cheesecake Factory tonight.
I also recorded a little song I wrote years ago for her. It's as a "hidden track" on the 16-song CD I made for her, so she'll have to listen through all of it to hear it.
