Footage from the concert in Gouveia, Portugal last Saturday. They had some technical problems (especialy the drums) and were a bit tired because their flight was canceled, they arrived there on the same night of the concert and did the sound check in a hurry. They still played in the most perfect way possible, and it was a memorable performance: that's how incredible these musicians are

I finally bought it yesterday.
First impressions : I adore the first movement and the way the female voice passes the mantle to the male voice at the beginning of the second. That's all I can say for the moment. Need other listening.

I'm still obsessed with E-Re. .........and to put a twisted spin on my thoughts here ; I'm really digging Nick Beggs' bass performances, especially his work with Steven Wilson, and the guy is so adaptable, I'm sure he could pull off Magma bass if he wanted too. Imagine that - Kajagoogoo bassist joins Magma !!! Not that there's anything bad about Bussonnet, just some weird analysis from the screwed-up thoughts of myself..........

^ Francis Moze - how groovy is he . Love that last few minutes of Ki Iahl O Liahk, what a cool jam. Yet another 5 star album in my books. All you lucky folks who caught them live, I envy you . No chance they'd gig Down Under......

Thanks for your help, Jaz. I’ve been looking up pictures to try and figure out who’s who, but there’s not a lot of pictures or info to go by. But I think I have it figured out now. From left to right… Richard Raux, Francis Moze, Teddy Lasry (behind Christian), Christian Vander, Klaus Blasquiz, Alain Charlery (Paco), Francios Cahen and Claude Engel. If anyone knows if this is correct or not, please let me know.
Great to hear that people got to the concert and enjoyed it!
Oh and another thing I really like about 1001 Centigrades is the bass playing.
The show in Chicago on Friday was fantastic. It was my 12 year old son's first concert and he loved it. Stella mentioned that the last time they played Chicago was 1989 and there were maybe 30 people at the club. Friday's show was sold out. Amazing testament to their increasing popularity.
